The theme of migration whether it is immigration or emigration, whether implicitly of explicitly, is in many of the works of Latinx Literature as many of these ethnicities are derived from countries and cultures that are "outside" of the United States or, more specifically, othered in the United States. Therefore, regardless of whether its mentioned explicitly, all of these works imply the movement and transformation of cultures that birthed the idea of being Latinx.
