8.Rules of the Institute
(1)
(1) The Institute may, subject to subsection (2), establish regulations at any general meeting that are required or practical for carrying out the requirements of this Act and for its proper administration. These rules may address any of the following topics:

(b)
the admission of members, the admission costs, and the mechanism for terminating membership;

(d)
the test, instruction, or training required of applicants for membership, as well as the associated expenses;
(e)
the practical experience needed to be admitted as a member, as well as the Council's or any Chemists 11 Committee's power to authorise work locations where such experience can be gained;

(g)
the Council members' election, appointment, resignation, and removal;
(h)
the selection, appointment, resignation, and dismissal of the Institute's president, vice president, and council secretary;

(k)
the processes of the disciplinary and investigation committees, as well as the process for filing a complaint with any of them;

(n)
the management, investing, and spending of the Institute's funds and assets;

(l)
the dissemination of the Disciplinary Committee's proceedings and conclusions in the Gazette, newspapers, and other publications;
(2)
Upon receipt of the Minister's approval, any rules formulated under subsection (1) will be published in the Gazette.
