During his time in Shawshank he improved the lives of the prisoners including Red as he prevented him from falling the tragic path of Brookes. Andy also used his tax skills to launder money for the warden. After Tommy had profe that Andy was innicent, the warden killed him in order for Andy to stay in shawshank and make more money. Tommys death is what show Andy that he's a slave, giving him the resolve to escape. After escaping Andy was outside the stormcloud overtop the prison and was now being Showered by gentle rain. Andy embodies Perserverence,
    - - The shawshank redempion is the story of Red as he's the narrator and the story shows how he was redemed through meeting Andy. Red had spent most of his life behind bars and had been Institutionised, however his friendship with Andy is what saved him. The night Abdy escaped Red promised to find something he left. If it wern't for this purpose Red would have ended his life after being released, but now he had a porpose to stay alive. Inside the box Andy left money and the oppertunity for Red to join Andy in Zouhatenao. Without his deep connection with Andy Red would never have the stenght to fight agenced Institutionisation
- - - - The Hab is Mark Whatneys safe zone on Mars, It's where he lives and where he grows his food sorce, and contains the mashines responciple for keeping him alive. It's also where he does his mission logs at the end of every day. In side the hab is where most of the story telling is by explaning the results of the day. Inside the hab Mark is dealing with his deepest emotions. The large sence of Isolation is a huge burden throughoout the story and in the hab he has little to do but sit alone with his thoughts. The first time he made contact with Earth he went into the hab and cryed as the fact that he isn't alone and dosen't have to achive this near impossible task alone is a huge burden taken off him.
    - - While Nasa isn't as important of a setting as Mars as the majority of the storys themes and events reside their, nasa and the people trying to aid Mark are still very important. Earth represents the finish line for mark as the rest of humanity resude their and the his crew is heading their. Once Nasa discovers Marks survival.
    - - The Harsh Martian landscape is the obstical Mark whatney needs to overcome in order to survive and make it back to Earth, due to this mars if frequently referded to like an Antaganist, as this no character to pertray the villain of the story. Mars throws so many problems in Mark face throughout his journey to escape, and shows Mark perservering dispite immense difficulty. When Mark starts attempting long distance rover travilling he goes over many triels to see the potenchial of the rovers and how to improve their flaws, “Sirius 1 was aborted after one hour. I guess you could call it a "failure," but I prefer the term "learning experience.", and when he makes the long expedighion to the Ares 4 site and finds the storm half way, instead of losing hope he traks the size and direction of the strom and manneges to navigate it. Mark outstanding Perserverence is shown constantly by the challenges displayed by the Markian landscape.
