Lifestyle Changes:
People will transition into a slower pace of life, the younger generation would have longer attention spans and a lot more patience as short form videos and instant dopamine hits from online platforms cease to exist. Students would have gotten used to having very little distractions while studying as mobile phones don’t have nearly as much appeal without the internet. A big problem nowadays are the sleep schedules of the younger generation, a lot of students often sleeping at sunrise and waking up in the afternoon, due to addiction to online videogames, and content consumption. This would result in students being healthier overall, and have more focus on their schoolwork. However, this does not necessary mean these students can create better work than currently, as the internet is also immensely useful as a tool for learning. For example all the writing, graphing, drawing, modeling, has to be done on paper, by hand, all the research has to be learned through finding the right books. The internet allows information to be recorded and transfer at the speed of light, and makes most steps in traditional studying redundant, enhancing the productivity by multiple factors. So without the internet, students would be healthier, have better mindset, focus, patience, but would be end up not as productive.
