4.1.U4 Flows in the hydrological cycle include evapotranspiration (EVT), sublimation, evaporation, condensation, advection (wind-blown movement), precipitation, melting, freezing, flooding, surface runoff, infiltration, percolation, and stream-flow or currents
Sublimation: The conversion between solid and the gaseous phases of matter, with no intermediate liquid stage
Evaporation: The process of changing water from liquid to gas. Only fresh water makes its way up to the clouds
Transpiration: water vapiur escapes from living plants, mainly through their leaves and enters atmostphere
Condensation: The process of changing water from gas to liquid. As water vapour rises, it becomes cooler and changes back into tiny liquid water droplets
Precipitation: Includes all form of rainfall, snow, frost, dew sleet, or hail fails from the sky
Advection: The horizontal transfer energy or matter by the wind. Refers particularly to the movement of air in atmosphere which result in redistribution of such elementsz

Freezing: the process by which liquid water changes to solid ice once temperature falls below )0 degree celcius
