Synthetic and Natural materials
Synthetic
the meaning: These are materials made by humans through chemical processes. They don't exist naturally in the environment.
the examples:
Plastic
Nylon
Polyester
the usage of the material
Plastic: Used for packaging, bottles, and containers.
Nylon: Used in clothing, ropes, and fishing nets.
Polyester: Used in clothing, and blankets.
the process to form that material.
Plastic: To make plastic, first it is turned into small plastic pellets. These pellets are then poured into a reactor. Inside the reactor, the pellets are melted into a thick liquid. then it is poured into a mold, which is like a shape or a container. After a while, the liquid cools down and becomes hard, turning into solid plastic.

.
Nylon is a kind of plastic that comes from oil. Nylon is made from reacting carbon-based chemicals found in coal and petroleum in a high-pressure, heated environment.
Polyester: To make polyester fibers, small pieces of PET plastic are melted and squeezed through tiny holes. This makes long threads. After that, the threads are cooled to become hard fibers. The size and shape of the holes can be changed to make different types of fibers.

Natural
the meaning: materials that come from nature and are found in the environment without human processing.
the examples
Wood
Cotton
Wool
the usage of the material,
Wood: Used for furniture, houses, and paper.
Cotton: Used in clothes, towels, and bed.
Wool: Used for clothes, carpets, and blankets.
the process to form that material.
Wood: Trees are cut down, processed, and shaped into products.
Cotton: The cotton plant is harvested, cleaned, and made into yarn.
Wool: Sheep are sheared, and the wool is cleaned, and woven into fabric.
