Constant velocity - Coggle Diagram
Constant velocity
Position time graph
A straight line represents constant velocity, while a curved line shows changing speed.
-
A flat, horizontal line means the object isn’t moving (zero velocity).
If the line inclines upward, the object is accelerating; if it slopes down, the object is decelerating.
The slope shows how fast the object is moving: steep = fast, shallow = slow.
The more inclined the line, the higher the velocity.
Steepness of the graph indicates speed: steeper = faster, flatter = slower.
Motion Map
Shows an object’s location, rate of change, and time intervals.
Dots spaced equally represent an object moving at a constant velocity, covering equal distances in equal time intervals.
Arrows indicate the direction of movement: right = positive, left = negative.
