Connecticult does not have any licensure for SLPAs. Standards vary by state.
On 2000, ASHA created a national standard for licensure.

Economic/Reimbursment Influences
Medicaid/medicare will reimburse documented services provided by an SLPAs
SLP caseloads can be increased when SLPAs are used to enhance service. Current guidelines are not available to assist in decision making.
