The economic stability reduces the need for having a larger family. Living in an area with a stronger economy can provide more job opportunities and education opportunities. Population with a high proportion of employed females can have lower growth rates.

The difference of the younger people and the older people in a population will affect how fast the it grows. Countries with high percentage of people like India. at the ages 15-45 will grow much faster compared to other countries.

People have access to hospitals, doctors, and health service which means that more children can live till adulthood and fewer older people die which can better the growth rate.

During the 1700s the humans started to apply different technology to different farming techniques. This meant that there was more food per area of land. With more food than there is better nutrition which increased the life expectancy, so the global population started to rise.

The new technology in farming means that less people will get injured or hurt, this also means that not as many workers need to work as hard.
