Ignorance
He removes the cheerful light of Christmas from everyone, whom celebrates it, because he doesn't like it, neither should anyone else.
He doesn't see a problem with others living in the dark and cold, as he is perfectly coping without it.
He chooses to believe the GoCP's light, and chooses to ignore Marley along with it.

Cold
Scrooge is happy to live in darkness as Scrooge knows darkness is cheap. This further reveals Scrooges parsimonious and Miserly manners. The fact that he doesn't even let his workers have coal in these cold and harsh times of year shows he is controlling and borderline abusive to his workers.
Scrooge chooses to act cold hearted and distant towards others. This could be because as a child he was hurt my the only people who "cared for him" became distant. Scrooge envys those who enjoy life and have a partner but he shuts everyone out

Scrooge in general is a very introverted character. He only really speaks when spoken too and when he does speak he doesn't exactly care for others the way the charity workers
