Activity : Teacher plants a bean in a flowerpot. Students observe the growth overtime and have a discussion on why plants need sunlight to grow. (DoBE, 2011).

Activity : The teacher brings different kinds of vegetables for learners to taste. they then have to fill in a chart on what they lied and disliked. after the lesson the teacher would compare the answers and have a discussion on why they liked a certain vegetable and why not. (DoBE, 2011).

Activity : The teacher brings a few gardening tools to class. The learners then make a poster with the teacher about different kinds of gardening tools to show how it can be efficient for farming (DoBE, 2011)

Activity : The teacher brings a beetroot to class and conduct a demonstration on how to preserve vegetables through pickling (DoBE, 2011)

Activity : Teacher asks learners to go do research on different types of food that people eat in different types of cultures. They then come to school the next day and have an discussion on this topic. What types of vegetables do they eat and why?(DoBE, 2011)

Activity : The teacher would organize a field trip to a local farm and asks the farmers to give a tour and show us what they do on the farm. (DoBE, 2011)
