Notes: New technology mean you need fewer farmers so people moved to the city. This began the industrial revolution and new technology steam engine and sanitation, medicine, vaccines and better nutrition all of this means less babies are dying and more people living longer, (low infant mortality rate) and longer life expectancy so the global population went up.

During the agricultural revolution technology was applied to farming to grow more food on the same area of land.

Where people have access to hospitals, doctors, and health services, more children are likely to survive to adulthood health services.

Notes: Depending on the country you live in there are different versions of what makes a normal family size, In North America 2 or 3 kids is normal, in Kenya 5 or 6 kids is normal.

Mexico=young
Countries with a high percentage of people aged 15 to 45, like Mexico will grow much faster compared to countries that have a higher elderly percentage

Education
When Women do not have good access to education they often get married young and start a family, resulting in more years of having babies which result in high fertility rate. Think Somalia, 2,5 years of school, 6 children per mom.

So in poor countries where many people are farmers in can be financially advantageous to have more children, so fertility rates tends to be high in poor farming economies
