Connection: In the first few seasons, Rory was still living at home, so she is spending most of her free time either studying or hanging out with Lorelai. A few characters in Rory's life are her childhood best friend, Lane, her school friend, Paris, and two of the guys she had highschool relationships with, Dean and Jess. Lorelai works at a hotel at this time, before she starts to run her own later on. A few characters in her life are Sookie, her best friend that she works with, Christopher who is Rory's real dad, and Max who she almost married but backed out of last minute. After season 4, things started to change. Rory moved out and went to college at Yale, and Lorelai started to run her own hotel, shared with Sookie. Relationships changed, and drama is constantly occurring keeping the show entertaining. Rory has new friends such as Marty, who is a roommate, and Logan who is her new boyfriend. Lorelai started to date Luke, and stopped talking to her mom. Things are constantly changing, but what stays the same, is the bond Rory and Lorelai have. They continue to hangout whenever they can, tell each other every minor detail in their life, and are still each other's best friends.
