They work together to encourage political and economic cooperation within particular regions of the world.
OAS
Is responsible for promoting cooperacion, peace, democracy and socioeconomic development within region
AU
Tries to strength the cooperation among the member countries, and to speed up the continent's political and socioeconomic unity.
EU
The goal of the union is to incorporate all of its members into a single state, extensively develop its economic structures and pass laws.
ASEAN
The goal of the union is to achieve regional peace and economic growth.
Informal Forums
The G7 meet in 1973, and is made up of seven countries in the world that have the most economic and military power.

Economic Organisations
There are a number of economic organisations with specific aim
WTO: World Trade Organisation is a trade organisation and the NAFTA: North American Free Trade Agreement

IMF
International Monetary Fund. Aim: prevent financial crises and encourage the economic stability
Advises governments on economic matters and gives loans to member countries
World Bank
Main activity: provide loans to governments to carry out reform projects and programmes in their countries
