Rock Formation
-
Sedimentary
Rock is formed after existing rock is eroded away by natural processes such as rain and is collected in waterways. It then makes its way along the waterway until it settles at the bed of the waterway. Over time, the pressure from the water and other layers of sediment solidifies the sediment until it becomes a new rock.
