Pupils should observe, talks about changes in the weather and the seasons.
Pupils should be warned that it is not safe to look directly at the sun, even when wearing dark glasses.
Pupils might work scientifically by: Making tables, charts about the weather making displays of what happens in the world around them including day length as the seasons chnages.
Everyday Materials
Your child will learn to identify and name various everyday materials such as wood, plastic, glass and rock.
They will be learning to describe simple physical properties of these materials such as hard/soft and rough/smooth.
Children will be comparing and grouping together these everyday materials based on their simple physical properties.
