GP's can refer you to specialist wards which can effectively help you
Therapists can help to talk things through and there are often ones available locally

this can be a good strategy to relieve stress and is outdoors in the fresh air
Go for a walk
Exercise can be a brilliant tool for calming down as it is scientifically proven that a walk outside for 30 mins boosts your mood and releases endorphins.
Also keeping active is very important to stay fit
Going for a walk can be the perfect sensory distraction if someone is feeling anxious or worried as fresh air can be amazing for you
Keep in touch
Chat to friends and family who can support you and chat through it with you
Keeping in touch with people can make you feel like you are still connected and in the loop with others
Eat well
Health eating and plenty of vitamins makes sure your body is getting the nutrients you need and vitamins are essential for your brain to function best. Also drinking plenty of water is important for your body to be operating ideally and at its best.
Ask for help
Asking for help from an adult you trust is important as it can help you feel better short term and help to fix the problem long term if action is needed.

Change the scenery! A short break can be the break you need to reset your mindset and help you focus on your project or task that you need to do.
