Life cycle
frog - lay many eggs, jelly-like covering, Tadpole (do not look like parents) ,
gills
,
lung, skin
- 3 stages - Adult, Egg, Tadpole
Cockroach - egg case, no wings (for Nymph), moults - 3 stages - Egg, Nymph, Adult
Chiken - lays eggs, hard shell protect -- 3 stage, Adult, Egg, Young
Grasshopper - soil, smaller, no wings (for Nymph), moults - 3 stages - Egg, Nymph, Adult
Human - sexual reproduction, penis, testes, womb, ovaries, vagina, sperm, egg, nucleus, cytoplasm, head, body, tail ---- 3 stages - Adult, Egg, Young
Butterfly - lay eggs on plants, food,
larva feed
, moults, case,
pupa no feed
, - 4 stages - Egg, Larva, Pupa, Adult
Masquito - lay eggs in still water, wriggler hang on water surface,
larva feed
, moult,
pupa no feed
, near water surface - 4 stages - Egg, Larva, Pupa, Adult
oil - block the breathing tubes,
Larva and Pupa
cannot get air
Beetle - lay eggs on leavs,
pupal case
- 4 stages - Egg, Larva, Pupa, Adult

Plant Parts
Seeds
Flowering Plants
Fertilisation
pollen grain
fuses
with ovule(s)
Ovary -> fruit;
Ovules -> seeds -> ripened
Seed Dispersal
wind
dry, light / have wing-like or parachute-like strcutures
water
waterproof outer layer or fibrous husk to trap air and stay afloat
animals
Juicy, fragrant, sweet or birhgtly coloured fruit hard seeds/ have hooks or stiff hair
splitting
split open with sudden force, shooting at different directions
benefits
Prevent overcrowding, which can lead to competition for light, water, nutrients and space.
To ensure that the seeds grow in a more favourable place

Stigma
Flower Stalk
Pollen grains from Anther to Stigma
senaris 1) same flower 2) differnt flowers on the same plant 3) differnt flowers on different plants
transfer of pollen grains
Insects
Large, brightly coloured and scented petals, anther and stigma are inside the flower, stigma is sticky
When an insect comes to visit the flower to suck the nectar, the pollen grains are stuck to the insect's hairy body. the pollen grains will fall off the insect and will be stuck to the flower's stigma.
birds
wind
filament sways due to wind and the pollen grains are shaken off the anther. The feathery stigma catches the pollen grains in the air.
Small petals, light or no scent, feathery stigma, anther hangs out of flower
