I want to create a children's resource that brings awareness
to children with extra / special needs
14% of students require SEN so every student is guaranteed to experience having or being with someone who has SEN
Help young children understand and recognise differences and that they are okay.
There is a general acceptance of children with extra needs but there is a lack of involvement and inclusiveness amongst the student body
may enjoy sport or other stereotypical hobbies
younger children like focusing on one activity like football or dance
A game would be a good way to teach inclusiveness through a story as it is something young children can relate with and associate to
children will be more likely to do/think of something if they have seen others like them or themselves do it before
Children at this age begin to fully communicate with and befriend other children.
Children who are five years old are much more likely to believe in and listen to authority figures
