MANAGEMENT

I. Analgesic and antipyretic (Fever) - Paracetamol 1g TDS
II. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) - Tab mefenamic acid 500mg, tab aspirin 300-600mg, tab ibuprofen 200-300mg
III.Corticosteroids - prednisolone 5mg, betamethasone 0.5mg
- Erythromycin 250-500mg QID
- Tetracycline 250-500mg QID
- Ampicillin 250-500mg QID
- Gentamycin 40mg TDS

- Administration medication according to prescription such as right patient, right medication, right dosage, right time, right documentation, right refuse and right route
- Taking blood specimen and labelling sample for investigation purpose
- Insert and monitoring intravenous normal saline drip to avoid electrolyte imbalance
- Record tracking and saving documentation for support diagnosis and as a proof of activities
- Taking and monitoring vital sign such as blood pressure, pulse rate, respiration rate, temperature and pain score for show progress towards recovery
- Do suction for chronic patient
- Rest in bed according to supine or recumbent position
- Administration of supplementary oxygen therapy by face mask 5L or nasal prong 3L for prevent hypoxia and reduce pain
- Encourage drinking 8 glasses of boiled water a day to prevent dehydration in the body
- Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes because it can affect the health
- Consume a balanced diet based on the food pyramid such as intake of high protein food, carbohydrate food, vegetables and fruits
- Practice a healthy and active lifestyle by doing a light exercise such as jogging, walking, yoga and so on for a speedy recovery capability
- Take the medication with correct dosage and timing according to doctor prescription such as 2 time per day (BD), 3 time per day (TDS), 4 time per day (QID), immediately (STAT) and when necessary (PRN)
- Use a latex or polyurethane condom
- Attending follow up treatment according to the time and date given by doctor
- Avoid patient do sex during vaginal pain
DEFINITION
Infection or inflammation of the fallopian tubes, This infection will cause damage the fallopian tube.
That can cause the egg released from the ovary could not meet with sperm that can cause infertility.
