Slot Games
Current ideas
Similar to Huff and Puff, we have a RPG based slot game where players collect upgrades for their party, which can give them bonuses
Title: High noon
Story: The game is set in an western town. The game stars two protagonists - a male and female sheriff who are a couple They need help collecting enough ammo to prepare them for the showdown at noon. Players have the option to choose the female or male to play as
About the game
Persistence: Players have the chance to enter two bonuses, one is a carnival/target practice game, and the other is an actual showdown between the sheriffs and the bot.
Bonus one -Target practice. This game happens when six matching symbols create a payline. This is a carnival style game and one of the easiest bonuses players can unlock. For every spin, a target will appear and scroll randomly across the screen until it lands on something and shoots. To make the game feel more fair, the player won't know what the sign will have. The sign shot will spin and slow down to reveal the final value. Then the rest of the signs will show and the game will start over.
-
Bonus two - showdown: When the clock hits twelve, three chimes will loudly sound (similar to hearing "Buffalo". A cutscene will play. There are a lot of alternatives depending on what you may win and how many bullets you have, but generally a protagonist will show off their guns, say something cool, and the game will wait on the player to shoot.
If the player has less than 3 bullets, Then there will be a simple pattern spray. If the player has more than 6 bullets, then they will go off one by one This is the game where majors are more possible, which will be indicated if after the shooting one more cutscene plays, showing the couple doing something bizarre.

Pot mechanic: Players will collect bullets (the coins) into a jar, ammo slot, or revolver. The player will be able to collect 20 bullets at a time
Challenges

How can I still have that house advantage? I dont want people to feel discouraged just because i am letting the player have straight wins
Stone Cold Winnings
Mechanics
Hold and spin + reveal: 3 spins that can be refilled every time you get a coin. At the start of a bonus game, you can earn Olympic currency that will stay as the slot spins. If you end up getting a full row, Medusa will turn it into a statue. Be the end, it will break to reveal an even greater prize

Witch
So this is kind of similar to the high noon game. Basically you are a witch who needs to craft the perfect potions for their clients (maybe) but you basically need to make potions, so you have a caldruen out that you are using to do so. Winning lines can go into the caldruen and then create some potions that you can use to upgrade your slots.

Title: Top Chef
Mechanics: Make magical recipes. Specific recipes = specified bonuses. We fulfill recipes by matching symbols on the list. The upgrades last 5-10 spins. The final bonus will have players spinning to make the best dish they can based on their luck. It's basically like a magical cooking mama
Story: You are a magic chef who has to cook the best recipes to be judged by a panel. Like you are on Top chef

Technological advancements (larger screens, digital table games, etc.) are not convincing enough for younger audiences
"When does the fun part happen?" is a question I've been uttering every time I go through a slot game or watch a video on slots. To find the interesting mechanic, I, a zoomer with an attention span of 6 seconds, continuously try to skip just to find something entertaining or new. How can I fix this??

Older audience prefers desktop, younger prefers mobile

Personal Frustrations
Association
I don't like the casino environment. It's incredibly loud, oftentimes smells awful, and is typically not in the cleanest state. Definitely not somewhere worth an hours worth of commute time
More often than not I'll be next to people who
are using drugs or alcohol, and I don't feel comfortable being around players like that

Appeal
-
Why would I invest time in a slot when it doesn't lead up to anything? I don't like not having continuous growth.
Assuming that most of the time I'll be losing my cash, I find it hard to want to spend money on the machine and not have some kind of reward for doing so
Things I like
Current games

The wheel, unlike Conan, gives you some kind of reward regardless of what you win on that feels good

You don't feel like you're gambling for money, you feel like you are helping someone keep business up
-
The game is kind of one note, but I like how in control you are of your experience

Art design is brilliant, especially for the wilds and the wheel

Clown High Limit
The bonus allows players to choose what direction they want, which may or may not introduce player volatility
The mechanics of the Jackpot are randomized, I think. For example, if you land on some values and get a hammer, every time you roll a hammer, the values are multiplied
Watching the hammer, move the values up is a satisfying experience
Unfortunately, the theme is a little nonsensical in places, it wants to do a clown theme, but its also Asian, for some reason?
Personal preferences
I prefer games that are highly immersive, which generally means the world building the game is rich, the art and sound design match well with the theme
I prefer the action, mystery, rpg, and sim genre
I like anthropomorphic, human, and monster character designs (League of Legends or Overwatch or any DnD book has a good cast of characters, for example)
I like western, fantasy, mythology, folklore, horror genres, fairy tales,

I want my games to tell some kind of story. If I feel there is no conflict, I'll get bored
I like it when games subvert expectations (i.e. cute looking character is actually quite evil) or (card game but the game master cheats)
