I will give the children each their own paper with a corn picture outline sketched on it.
They will get their corn to paste on their picture to create their own harvesting craft.
I will hand out a paper with 2 columns. 1 will be hibernate and the other 1 will be migrate. There will be 6 pictures at the bottom of the paper of different animals that "sleep" and others that migrate/ move to warmer places. They will colour, cut out the pictures and paste it in the right column.
I will give the children pictures to circle of clothes that we wear in fall.
I will take the children outside to collect leaves. I will ask them to tell me how the trees look like this time of year. We will go and paste some of our leaves on a tree that I will sketch for them and the other leaves must lay on the ground, pasted on the ground.
I will bring my own kettle and boil some hot water. Then I will make us all some hot chocolate in plastic glasses to drink.
I will give the children a certain number of different seeds and acorns and ask them to divide these that look the same together and those that does not look the same together.
I will ask the children to create a butterfly for me with the leaves that they have collected outside. I will draw the outlines to form the butterfly body. They just need to paste the leaves inside the lines for the butterfly's wings.
I will put on the heater in my class for the children and ask them what difference does the heater make?
I will tell them to stand closer and feel the heat.
