For the activity we will read a book based on an animal that hibernates and then I will ask the learners some questions based on the book.

The children go outside and collect lots of different colour leaves, then they come back and glue the leaves on the tree. (They will each get a piece of paper with an outline of a tree on.)

We will set up a little farmers market in the class and role play this one activity many people do during Autumn.
Discussion on how Autumn affects people e.g. what we eat, what we wear, and how we act

We will have a little class party where each child brings something that they eat during Autumn and come dressed in clothes they wear during Autumn; they must also discuss why they eat and wear these things. This is a fun interactive way to get the learners involved.

We will make our own harvesting tool out of recycled materials. Each child will bring in their materials and choose the tool they would like to make.
