Global Population Growth Rate
Social Attitudes
Kenya
Countries like Kenya consider a large family of around 5-7 children to be normal because of their medical advances being a little behind than other countries like U.S.A.; this meant that 1/5 babies would die before ethe age of 1.
-
-
Canada
Countries like Canada have better health care, which means that parents wont have the fear of losing their child before the age of 1. Parents don't have as much children as a result, now it is a norm to have anywhere between 1-3 children.

Age of the Population
If a country has a large percentage of the population in the 15-40 age groups they will have a faster growth rate because these people are usually starting families.
Japan
Countries like Japan have a majority of their population in older age groups (50+). Older citizens usually don't give birth to children which means that Japan's population isn't growing by much.

Industrial Revolution
Because fewer people needed to be farmers, they started to move into cities for jobs in factories run by steam power created by burning coal. People in the city created many new technologies. They advanced to steam engine, medicine, vaccines, better nutrition, which made people healthier and thus making them like longer. Life expectancy increased and the global population went up to 1 billion people.
-
Agricultural Revolution
Approximately 350 years ago, many humans used different types of technology on food. This meant farmers could grow more food per acre of land. Better nutrition means people live longer(increased life expectancy). In the end, the global population increased.
-
Infant Mortality Rate
Because of the Agricultural and Industrial revolutions life expectancy increased and the global population increased dramatically. More babies also began to life past the age of 1(IMR) this also caused global population to increase dramatically.

Male
Men's education will help on their future career. Depending on the career,
Economy$
The economic stability reduces needs for a large family. If you live in an urban area, you have more opportunities for jobs and education. Although, gender also plays a part in it. If the population of a country has a high proportion of employed females, then the growth rate may decrease.
Women
When women live in poor farming communities, they often have more children to support the work on the farm.
When women stay in school and are empowered to get awesome jobs, they get married at an older age and have less children.
