Reptiles - Coggle Diagram

- - - - Activity:
        Investigate - I will start a discussion about how reptiles need warmth to survive. I will show pictures of reptiles under heat lamps.
        Design - I will ask the learners to draw a picture of a reptile enclosure that focusses on the position of the heat lamp.
        Make - I will provide the learners with recycled materials to make their own heat lamp for an enclosure.
        Evaluate - I will ask the learners to explain their creation and how it will keep the reptiles warm.
        Communicate - The learners will present their heat lamps to the class and explain how to use it.
  - - - Activity:
        Investigate - I will ask the learners if they know the different places that reptiles live. I will then show pictures of the different habitats.
        Design - I will split the learners into groups and ask them to sketch designs of a reptile enclosure.
        Make - I will provide recycled materials for the learners to make their own reptile enclosures as a group. The learners can add their heat lamp in the enclosure from the previous lesson.
        Evaluate - I will ask the learners questions like, do you think your reptile will be warm? Will your reptile have enough space to move around? is there anything you would change?
        Communicate - The learners will present their enclosures to the classroom and explain them.

        I will ask the learners if they have seen any reptiles near their home and I will explain why reptiles sometimes come close to our houses like shelter and food.
        I will ask the learners how they feel about reptiles, if they like them or if they are scared of them.
        I will ask the learners to draw a picture of reptiles in their different habitats or near their home if they have seen them.
