Wide ranges of vegetables. Vegetables com in a wide range of flavors some are sweet, and some are bitter. The flavors of vegetables can differ from eating it raw and eating it cooked some has good flavors when eaten raw and some tastes better cooked (Casa De Sante, 2024).

The texture of vegetables can differ from the texture of meets and other foods like bread and rice. The texture can be soft, chunky or smooth depending on the sort of vegetable you have and if its cooked or not. And the cause of the texture is due to the plant cells of which vegetables are made (Food Crumbles, 2018).

Vegetable tasting
Learners will each get the chance to taste different vegetables. They will taste cooked vegetables and raw vegetables and then make notes of the texture and howe it tasted raw and cooked.

Concept 1 10 different vegetables. You get leafy green vegetables, cruciferous round vegetables, root vegetables, flower vegetables, tuber, bulb, fruit, legumes and fungi and lots more (Fifteen, 2024).
Activity
Learners will feel and look at different vegetables make notes of what they observed. Students will get the chanch to look at the vegetables throe a magnifying class to get an better look at the colour and shape of the vegetables.

Vegetables consist of a big variety of plants. To keep vegetables fresh for longer periods farmers, use a processing method of preserving vegetables. The processing and preserving of vegetables is an long process and insures that vegetables are fresh for human consumption for longer periods (www.britannica.com, n.d.)
Activity
Learners will each receive an jar and some pre cute vegetables that can be preserved. The learners will the place the vegetables in their jars and with the assist of the teacher they will add vinegar and sugar they will close the jars. They will also please vegetables in bags and in containers and please it in the school fridge. Over a course of 3 weeks students will observer what happens to the vegetables and make notes of their observations. Learner will have a discussion of what they observed and what happened to the vegetables.

The importance of soil, water and sunlight to vegetable plants. Like people and animals plants need water and sunlight to thrive. Soil is important as it gives the plants the minerals and nutrition they need to grow and is an temporary home for the vegetables plants till they are harvested (Null, 2020)

We will discuss the importance of vegetables and what they need to grow. Learners will then make an vegetable garden for the school where thy each get seeds and buckets of soil. The learners must fill the big container outside the classroom and plant the seeds they have. The students will give them water and make notes of the grout prosses of their vegetables.
