pg. 39~41
--> Rolf finds a woman's head in the mud, her name is Azucena Cily. Many people know about Azucena because there is a program on TV about her.No one listened to the warnings that the heat of the eruption would trigger landslides. Survivors can see churches, farms, and homes all gone. The mud was knee-deep in mudslides and you could see the destruction of nature, and nothing could stop it.
pg. 42~44
--> Rolf listened to Azucena's story, as she tried to pull herself out of the mud. Rolf tried to help her, but it wasn't easy to get out of the mud. Rolf promised Azucena that he would save her, but it was hard to get her out by himself. Many soldiers and doctors came to check if her heart was still beating. Fortunately, she was still alive. Rolf continued to tell Azucena stories about his life to let her know that he was there for her.
I(narrator)watched a broadcast featuring Rolf and Azucena. I called everyone and asked them to help them.
pg. 45~ 47
--> All I could do was comfort myself. On the morning news, I could see the dead bodies of people and animals. Some people had taken shelter. People were running out of food and water. There was no anesthesia, so some people were having their legs amputated without anesthesia. Rolf continued to try to save Azucena. The station brought in filming equipment to broadcast Azucena's story. Rolf continued to talk to her throughout the night.

--> Rolf remembered what happened in the concentration camps. He thought of his brother, who was disabled from his father's violence, and he remembered his mother's face in his tears. There were too many bodies in the streets to count. The president comforted the exhausted doctors and soldiers. Azucena was not only comforting Rolf, she was comforting him. Rolf loved her so much that he wanted to give her his life, but she closed her eyes and went into the mud like a flower in the mud.
