Types of hajj
There are only three types of hajj
1.Hajj al-Tamtt'u , most common type of hajj
2.Hajj al-ifrad, to perform the rituals of hajj alone without sacrificing an animal
3.Hajj al- qiran, to perform both Hajj and umrah while being in the state of ihram
Miqat is a place or station where pilgrims will start preparing for ihram by putting on their pilgrims [garments]
no one is allowed to pass through these stations without ihram for whoever who wants to do hajj or umrah
There are 5 miqats:
1.Yalamlam
2: Dhat Irq
3: Al-Juhfah
4: Dhul-Hulayfah
5: Qarn al-Manazil
There are two types of miqats:
It is the time limit for performing the hajj pilgrimage
Miqat Makani
Miqat Zamani
It is the place where you will perform the hajj pilgrimage
