Class Activity. Read through the history of vegetables. ask the students to name some facts while you hold up a vegetable to see if they can remember what you read.
Global warmings effect on farming
They will learn the effect that temperature has on the growth of vegetables.
They will also learn how global warming effects plants and animals.
Class Activity. Ask the students to draw on a piece of paper what they think will help to solve global warming. Allow the students to use their creativity.

Class Activity. Ask the students to bring different vegetables to class. have a show and tell, ask the students to tell the class one fact about the vegetable.

The students will be able to tell how the different vegetables taste and they will be able to explain the difference between sweet and salty.
Class Activity. Have the students feel and taste all the vegetables they brought to school. Let them tell the students how the vegetables feel and taste.

Class Activity. The students can create a Tractor that will be used to farm the vegetables. they will make use of recycled Materiels to make the tractor.

Class Activity. bring corn or carrots to school and allow the students to participate in a pickling activity. allow the students to cut the vegetables with a child friendly knife and then add the pickling mixture to a jar. place the cut-up piece in a jar. allow the students to keep track of what they think will happen to the vegetable of their choice.
