key concept: Since there are different cultures worldwide, Learners can explore how they use vegetables in their diets.
Activity: Learners can research traditional dishes from various cultures that use vegetables and present them to the class. As learners do this activity it aids them to develop research skills and cultural awareness. (Ai : Sibiya 2024 )

Key concept: From farms to homes, trace the journey of vegetables.
Activity: Create a visual map that shows the stages from planting to harvesting and distribution. This promotes geographic awareness and understanding of food systems

Activity: Is to do an investigation in class where learners plant seeds in containers and they will observe their growth over time. This will teach learners about the plant life cycle and the conditions needed for growth (soil, water, sunlight) (Ai: Sibiya 2024)

Activity: Show learners simple preservation techniques like drying or prickling by doing so it will develop practical skills in food technology.

Activity: Learners can use paper to plan out a garden by determining how much area they need and what sorts of foods they wish to grow, this enhances one's capacity for design and planning. (Ai: Sibiya 2024)
