Activity: Learners will be instructed to match different vegetables to how it benefits our health and well-being, example. carrot- good eye sight.

Activity: Learners will be given pictures of different vegetables and they must place them in the seasons where they are harvested. Learners will then choose their favourite season and paste pictures of their favourite vegetables that is found during the season they have chosen.
Natural science

Different types of vegetables. “Vegetables are available in many varieties and can be classified into biological groups or ‘families’, including: leafy green, cruciferous, marrow, root, edible stem and allium” (Better health, 2024).
Activity: Learners will be divided into groups. Each group will be given 2 different vegetables. Learners must sort the vegetables they were given into 6 categories: leafy green, cruciferous, marrow, root, edible stem and allium.

Learners will discuss with their group about which category to chose to place each of the vegetable they were given in 1 of the 6 categories.
Technology
Preparing your own vegetable snacks taste better. Serbajadi Grow Joy shop(2020) "vegetables more flavourful than anything sold at supermarkets, but they also pack an extra punch with vitamins to keep those bodies going strong all day long."
Activity: Learners will be instructed to make their own vegetable snack. After which learners must taste their own snack and describe the texture and the taste to the class.

Structure. "There are three basic types of structures: shell structures, frame structures and solid structures"(Dadoo Primary:2020:6)
Activity: Learners are given a scenario of an old lady who buys vegetables from the market but today she needs to buy a lot of vegetable to make food for the homeless shelter she volunteers at. Learners needs to make a cart out of recyclable materials to help the old lady to carry her vegetables back to her house to cook.
