How sugar contributes to diabetes?
What are some solutions and treatments to any/all forms of diabetes?
Breaking down the 3 major forms of diabetes through a lot of research and tests conducted through out the years of doctors whom study this particular condition, there are forms of brief treatments and solutions that can work but not for long term use.
Type 1 diabetes treatments and solutions consist of taking insulin shots (these are prescribed by the doctor only) to help mediate and rebuild the insulin cells due to the autoimmune reaction occurrence, using a blood sugar or glucose monitor at home to measure how much sugar is consumed each day and when to cut down if levels are seen rising, excising and regulating physical exercise as this will help contribute to weight loss and reduces the risks of cardiovascular diseases as well as eating healthier meals for better vitamin consumption and regulation.
Type 2 diabetes has more limited treatments and solutions meaning because it is a more serious case of diabetes at this stage its most likely to be too far gone to provide anything that could potentially help significantly but there are still some treatments that are highly recommended such as metformin medication (this medication has to be prescribed only and help scut down on the amount of glucose in the body for emergencies) this medications the only type of medication that can have an immediate impact on ones life as this pill cuts down on glucose within the body by a significant amount, healthy dieting by cutting down on amount of sugar consumed and eating more leafy and green vegetables/fruits, exercise to help with weight loss and monitoring blood sugar with glucose monitor that attaches to the arm as well as monitoring blood pressure.
Gestational diabetes can be more controlled rather then the other forms of diabetes such as after pregnancy monitoring blood sugar levels, exercise to help with weight loss, certain medications such as metformin as well as after the pregnancy is done, the doctor will usually provide a take home kit to the patient to first start monitoring their blood sugars. at this point after the pregnancy sometimes within a few weeks of instructions the diabetes goes away if its early enough to catch after pregnancy which is why this type of diabetes is more controlled then the other 2 forms.
How does diabetes occur?
Diabetes is more common than any other type of condition. There are several different types of diabetes with some including type 1, type 2 diabetes and gestational diabetes. All these types of diabetes have different levels of severity and importance.
Type 2 diabetes occurs or has a greater chance of occurring when there is usually some type of pre medical disorder including anywhere from the pancreas or kidney area, the body becomes insulin resistant and the body is unable to break down the amount of glucose entering the body after consumption and as a result of it the blood sugars rise and as well as contributing obesity and poor diet choices can also increase the risk of a person developing type 2 diabetes.
Type 1 diabetes is more likely to occur due to an autoimmune reaction where the immune system attacks and eats the insulin cells made from the pancreas leading to very little insulin production as well as genetic contribution meaning if there are traces within the family history of any type of diabetes you are more prone due to the exposure through genetics.
Gestational diabetes happens when there are rapid hormonal changes within a person where the body cannot produce enough insulin due to factors such as pregnancy as well as ethnic
background and weight factor.
What chemicals are in sugar to increase risk of diabetes?
Studies have shown through research and diagnostics such as glucose tolerance tests have discovered that fructose and glucose are the main chemical compound that causes diabetes. Foods that contain high glucose such as sugary sweets and some fruits are good for diabetics but majority of them should stay away from such high risk delights.
There have been discoveries of an environmental chemical known as inorganic arsenic particularly in the investigation of the development in type 2 diabetes. This organic chemical causes metabolic disruption and is a stress reliever in which many people believe in the use of it. It also resists insulin therefore causing a disruption in the signalling pathway of insulin and causing weight gain.
Are there any positive effects from sugar on the body?
There are many positive aspects to consume sugar for the body such as stability between salts to keep a balance within the blood stream, is a good energy booster, releases dopamine and is safer then other ways such as alcohol, vaping or smoking and because our brains are so rich in cells, glucose can provide energy to our cells in our body causing us to gain additional ATP.
Research has shown that in certain cases of diabetes, sugary beverages and sugary snacks can help and are essential to help rise up the glucose levels in your blood stream because without enough sugar, fainting and light headedness can occur which can lead into more serious conditions.
A good substitute for sugar for a severe diabetic can include glucose tablets and simply in foods and desserts Splenda, Neotame, Saccharin and Stevia are all good replacements of sugars but still consumed in smaller amounts with limited exposure to it but can have calculated amounts with the use of the blood sugar monitor.
What is the common diet of someone diagnosed with diabetes?
A common diabetics diet no matter what type of diabetic must follow a strict diet consisting of measured carbs, vegetables, measured fruit intake, meats (especially red meat) and dairy (minimal if contains sugar)
Vegetables are an important part in a diabetics diet because they can provide a wide range of nutrients and minerals including vitamins that help with energy boosters and antioxidants and are unlikely to cause a sugar spike within the blood stream such as baked goods and some fruits due to fructose.
Meat is important for diabetics especially red meats because protein which is in red meats allows us to feel fuller for longer periods of time which can help control unneeded weight gain which can lower diabetes risks and/or help control it .
When it comes to carbs, diabetics are allowed 45-60 grams of carbs per meal and 15-20 per snack but it also depends on how much medicine and how severe the case is but normally within that range. carbs are a necessity when following the proper diet of any persons therefore diabetics can only cut their intake rather then disclose the food group. It doesn't really help a diabetic nor make them worse but simply is required as a food needed for energy production.
Dairy products are good for a diabetic and can help because it is rich in saturated fats that help combat against especially type 2 diabetes and have low glycemic index making it perfect for a balanced diet .
