Activity: Learners will collect leaves outside. Those leaves will be used to create an image of an animal and extra details can be glued and pasted onto the leaves

Trees start losing their leaves
Leaves start to change colour
Flowers are not as present during the autumn season

Activity: Learners will trace their hand and forearm onto a piece of paper. This will be learners tree trunk. Learners will use different colors of red, brown and yellow to draw the leaves onto their tree. This is how learners gain an understanding of trees in autumn.

Activity: Learners will be given a scavenger hunt to do outside. Learners will be required to find certain things in nature that can briefly show how the weather changes during autumn. E.g. Finding an orange leaf, finding a twig from a tree. Learners can also be asked to describe what the weather felt like or looked like outside
