      - Britain not only weakened the treaty but also sent a clear signal that it was willing to negotiate and accommodate Hitler’s demands. This compliance further encouraged Hitler to test the limits of British tolerance. (Anglo-German Naval Agreement 1935)!!!!!!!!!!!!
        As Britain continued to show flexibility, it only reinforced Hitler's belief that his ambitions would face little resistance, driving him to seek even more aggressive expansions. This agreement, therefore, became one of the early signs that appeasement was failing, as Hitler’s continued defiance was met with leniency rather than consequences. It marked the beginning of a pattern in which Hitler would push boundaries, confident that Britain and France would not intervene decisively to stop him.
      - THE ABYSSINIAN CRISIS mirrored appeasement, Hitler gained the understanding that Britain and France would likely lack the decisive capability to suppress rampant expansion of countries which served their self-interests -> reluctance to intervene
