Glaciers: Large, moving masses of ice.
Icebergs: Large pieces of ice floating in the ocean
Snow: Frozen water that falls from the sky.
Ice Caps: Thick layers of ice covering land.
Sea Ice: Frozen ocean water.
Atmosphere: the layer of gases that surrounds earth.
Example:
Air: The mixture of gases we breathe, like oxygen.
Clouds: Tiny water droplets in the air.
Wind: Moving air and breezes.
•Rain: Water that falls from cloud like during a rainstorm
Hydrosphere: all the water on Earth.
Example:
Oceans: Huge bodies of saltwater covering most of the Earth's surface.
Rivers: Flowing streams of freshwater.
Lakes: Large, still bodies of freshwater.
• Seas: Smaller than oceans and partly enclosed by land.
• Ponds: Small bodies of freshwater, often found in parks or gardens.
Geosphere: all the solid land on Earth.
Example:
Mountains: High, steep landforms.
Valleys: Low areas in between mountains, like the Grand Canyon.
•Deserts: Dry, sandy areas with very little water and rain.
Volcanoes: Mountains that can erupt with lava and ash.

Biosphere: all the living things on Earth.
Example
Trees: Plants can provide oxygen and habitat.
Animals: Creatures that live in different habitat.
• Plants: grows in soil, like flowers and grass.
• Insects: Small creatures that help with plants.
• Fungi: Organisms like mushrooms.
