Ancient Civilization
Location: On page 8 it said that "the Egyptians lived on the banks of the Nile River. "Ninety percent of the land, but most people silt that fertilized the land, there would not be an Egyptian civilization (Hart 8)
Writing: In the text is said "scribe living at the end of the Egyptian civilization also had to be able to write in Greek the language of theirs.
Government: The king was not only the most famous powerful and important man in Egypt-he was thought to be a god. He was known as the pharaoh-a word that derives from a respectful way of referring to the king by describing him as the "great house" (per-ao), meaning the palace where he lived. The queen of Egypt could also be seen as a goddess but was usually given the title of "Great Royal Wife"- only rarely did women rule Egypt in their own right.

Art:
Architecture: The first pyramid was built as the burial place of king Djoser in c. 2650 BCE, by his gifted architect Imhotep (pp. 34-35). It rose in six stages and is called the step Pyramid. It was supposed.
Religion:
Ancient China
Art: The ghostly army of terracotta soldiers that guards the First Emperor's tomb is accomplished by life - size horses and chariots. No two soldiers have the same face - each is an individual portrait of a soldier from the Qin army.
Government: Confucius Believed that early years of the Zhou of social harmony. In his own lifetime Confucius saw only growing disorder. The king's authority was greatly reduced as ambitions lords fought each other for power.
Architecture/Technology: Some of the world's greatest inventions came from China. There was an invention that was called gun powered Chinese alchemists discovered gunpowder in the 8th century while they were carrying out experiences to find the elixir of life.
Writing: On page 11 it said that questions and answers were interesting on ortica bones. it also states that "an ox bone or cracks until the cracked" The oracle bones were used by the strong kings consult with sentences.
Trade (Commerce): In the 13th century, China was conquered by Mongols, who established their own dynasty, the Yuan. Throughout Mongol rule, Chinese scholars were banned from the civil service and many of them retired to write literature. Because the Mongols controlled the entire of the SILK ROAD, international trade thrived.
Religion:THE SUMERiANS WORSHIPED MANY GODS AND GODDESSES. They believed that the stars traveling across the night cross sky were the crows of sin or Nanna, the horned Moon God. Enki, the god of water and wisdom, was thought to live in an underground ocean called Apsu.

Location: China is the world's oldest continuous civilization. From 221 B.C. to A.D. 1912, it was united under a single great empire. Ancient China remained untouched by outside influences because It was a world apart.
Indus River Valley
Writing: On the website it said "over 400 symbols have been uncovered from different locations." They are located on seals and ceramic pots. They have wondered if the symbols would work for a writing system. (

Religion: On the website it said "The religion of the ancient Aryans, known as Brahmanism, was polytheistic and heavily influenced the later development of Hinduism." Both religions have a lot in common. They share a lot of the same rituals. (

Location: On the website it said "Over time, a vast number of settlements were built on the banks of the Indus River and surrounding areas." It covers most of Pakistan and a little bit of Afghanistan. The region was rich in fertile soil. (

Government: On the website it said "One Aryan influence on modern-day India was the development of the caste system." It is a social group where people are born and don't change. People were divided based on how wealthy they were. (

Architecture/Technology: On the website it said "The advanced architecture and construction techniques of the Indus cities is also shown with impressive dockyards, granaries, warehouses, brick platforms, and protective walls." The walls protected them from floods and attackers. People care about hygiene so they get water from wells.
