Social class
Crime in London( big city with a lot of crime), is more prevalent in the neighbourhoods with the higher levels of crime deprivation, and its common sense that people would commit crime in these areas, robbery theft and assault in the working class because these are the people who struggle with money. People in the middle class tend to commit fraud and tax evasion, because they are in a better situation than working class they do not need to worry about crime like theft, therefore they are trying to commit crime like ta evasion and fraud to further make their living better
Low education is a very big part of why crime in these deprived areas is much prevalent, this is because no education means lower options and also when you are educated you know what the consequences of crime are.
Another big reason is family, growing up with a bad family situation will make you more likely to commit crime as an adult or even a young person, an adult with a family he cannot fund will be more likely to commit theft because they need a lot of money
Social isolation and no support from friends and family is a big reason why crime is committed, this usually happens in lower class because these classes tend to have less options and less support from family and friends.
Ethnicity. Ethnicity can play a minor role in the big pot of reasons for crime, a big reason why some ethnicities may commit more types of a specific crime is mainly because of their situation such as only having a single parent or none, or just having a poor income/abusive family etc.
