- - - - Being Catholic has impacted my experience with science because on many levels, being Catholic does not always coincide with science.
- - - - This then relates to being a queer Latina woman because it will represent itself in my teaching, as a future educator.
      - Knowing how to teach science in a way that also represents my identity what I stand for.
- - - - Religion has always been a priority to my family and I. When things happen, and science does not provide us with an explanation, we have religion that brings us comfort.
        
        For this reason, some of my experiences with science have been different because it hasn't always provided me with a reason for why things are the way that my religion has.
