Definition - Passing off another's ideas or work as your own. This is a serious offence even when done unintentionally.
There are different kinds that span from exact word-for-word to more nuanced paraphrasing plagiarism.
Make sure that you always cite your sources and the ideas that are presented in your research. For citations, include more than just the URL.
For special cases, students may need to resubmit items if the exam and homework disparity is noticeable.
