location: the author wrote that the Greeks back in the day had labeled it Mesopotamia while the Mesopotamians had not modern Iraq is where mesopotamia used to be located

architecture: ziggurats where temples
u]/ that could range from 2 to 7 levels there were images of ziggurats imprinted on clay tablets with cylinder seals
region:the Mesopotamians viewed their government figures as god and used religion to make most of their decisions
art: the author has stated that the Mesopotamians had invented an early form of pottery in around 1500 BCE they had perfected the ceramic finish glaze they also had painted extravagant geometric patterns on the jars bowls and other pottery they had produced

writing:they used specially carved wedges made out of reeds to imprint on soft clay to make different symbols as they're writing system
government: the government was divided into levels the king ,high priests and nobles, then scribes and minor priests, then craftsmen and then the servants labourers and peasants
ancient egypt
location: the author has stated that on the banks of the nile lived the egyptians this land was named kemet or the black land because it was covered by rich dark slit beyond the banks of the Nile also known as the black land was the red land which even today is mostly desert
religion:amun-re was the main god of the Egyptian belief it was said that amun-re would protect egyptian Pharaohs and go on militant oriented campains
architecture:the egyptians pyramids were made out of hundreds of layers of limestone being barged down the Nile river and egyptians slaves where made to drag them up slopes this process has lasted multiple egyptian eras
writing:egyptians hieroglyphs didn't have a set way that they had to be written it could have been written top to bottom bottom to top left to right it was also mad as complicated as possible on purpose so they no common folk could just learn it containing about 700 characters in total there was also a more simple version of it though called hieratic
art: within page 57 its said "from the tang dynasty rhinoceros horn cups were given to scholars who were successful in their civil service examinations
trade: on page 58 it says "Trade Flourished under the Mongol, or Yuan, dynasty.¨ Merchants traded gold and silver. China became rich while trading through the silk road. (Arthur cotterell pg:58]
location: they had lived in a very mountainous and desert area causing them to be cut off from most other civilisations "vast deserts and mountain ranges cut off China from other cultures..." (Arthur Cotterell pg:6)
architecture/tech: on page number 22 it talks about how they had built a water power blast furnace which used a water wheel to power it they used in to make iron production faster "produced a steady blast of heat that greatly improved cast iron production" (Arthur Cotterell pg:22)
government: within page 16 it states "He used his subjects as slaves to construct the great Wall of China. His burial site was protected by the terracotta warriors the terracotta warriors being thousands of statues of soldiers. (Arthur Cotterell pg:12)
writing: within page number 11 it had stated the questions and answers were inscribed within the bones it also stated that "an ox bone or tortoise shell was scorched until it cracked" they used the bones for decision ways thinking of it as a way to talk to their ancestors (Arthur Cotterell pg:11)
Religion: On page 12 confucius had told everyone to be kind and respectful and to have strength in family "this increasing turmoil led confucius to develop a new moral outlook it was based on kindness respect and the strength of the family" (Arthur Cotterell pg:12)
indus river valley
location: the location of the indus river valley people was by the indus river on a alluvial plain making it great for the indus river valley people to farm letting them settle there the part of Asia is also mostly walled off by mountains
government: the Indus river civilisation was said to have a heterarchy meaning no one person had rule over the other but here was likely still some power disputes between richer families
religion: they started practicing brahmanism when aryans invaded them it later evolved into hinduism they have scripts called vedas which mostly details the victories of the aryans
architecture/technology: the Indus river valley civilization had made some of if not the first standardised weights also developing early forms of metal works with tin lead copper and bronze
writing: the writing of ancient India is known to be indecipherable even with all the symbols we have found no one is able to form anything from it leading to a lot of the indus history being a complete mystery some people wonder if there is no writing system and its something unrelated
