Location: The author wrote that on the banks of the Nile lived the Egyptians. This land was named "kemet" or the "black land" because it was covered by a rich dark silt.In the Text it says that the " desert covers more than 90 percent of Egypt" Which was called the "Red Land". (Hart 8)
Government: The text said "The homeland of the Assyrian people was around the Tigris river". It shows that they live a long way north of Babylon and other cities. That they had gods that they worshiped and praised like the chief god Ashur.

Ancient Chinna
Art :The art in Ancient China was terracotta warriors, these were statues that the emperor ordered to be built so that he wouldn't be alone when he died. The text also says that no two soldiers would have the same face, this was because these statues were inspired by the soldiers serving Qin. On page 16 it also says that these statues once welded real weapons but these were stolen by robbers after the fall of Qin. ( cotterell 16)
Writing On page 11 it said that questions and answers were inscribed on oracle bones. It also states that " an ox bone or a tortoiseshell was scorched until it cracked. The oracle bones were used by the shang kings to consult with ancestors. ( cotterell 11)
Religion: Confucius beloved that In the Zhou that as through the years there family and friends turned on each other for power and making turmoil (Chaos). On page 12 it also said "It was based on kindness and respect and the strength of the family". As a result the Zhou Dynasty was a fine dynasty at the end.
Technology/architecture: some of the world's greatest inventions came from china like how to tell that an earthquake is coming to a seismograph or paper. in the text it said that "In the middle ages many chinese inventions were carried along the Silk Road to Europe, where some had and enormous impact."
Trading: on page 58 it says , "interventional trade thrived because caravans could travel without danger." On page 58 it also said,"chinese merchants massed larged fourchins by exporting luxury goods such as silk, spices, teas,porcelain and lacquer". cotteral 58

China is the world's oldest civilization in the world it started in 221 B.C. to A.D. 1912. In the text it said that " Vast deserts and mountain ranges cut off China from many other cultures in India,West Asia, and Europe. another thing is that in 126 B.C. they realized that there not alone they saw other countries, Great leaders or thinkers such as the man him self Confucius encouraged people to lead an ordered, that means he lead people from his village to learn about other places and got China to where it is today
Government: In 221 B.C. the Chinese empire was formed by the Qin Empire and the soldiers defeated the last of there enemies. In the text it said "To show his Supremacy over the kings he had vanished."
