Location on page 6 it said that flowing southward through the middle east were two great rivers.the location of mesopotamia was in mondern day iraq as well as parts of Turkey,Syria and iran.In the book it states that¨Mesopotamia includes cooler mountainous regions in the north and reedfilled wetlands in the southeast¨.(Steele 6)
Architecture on page 23 it said that ziggurats are a massive terraced platforms made of brick
Also on page 24 it mentioned that a small statue was made for an offering for the mood God. On page 23 the author says " The ziggurats themselves had small temples or shrines on top. (Steele 24)
Religion on page 14 it said that they worship many god and goddess.Also on page 14 it says that stars are traveling across the sky were cow sins.Enki is one of the gods that they worship who is the water and wisdom. (Steele 14)
Art is on page 28 it said by 3000 BCE metal workers were mixing tin and cooper to make bronze.On the page 28 they used gold green red and blue gemstones to make necklaces.In the book it sates that in 6000 years ago they made pottory.

Location on page 8 it said ¨the Egyptians lived on the bank of the nile river.Ninety percent of the desert and called it the red land,and most people lived along the river.with out the silt that fertilized the land,there would not been an Egyptian civilization. (Hart 8)
Art on page 20 it said that they built ¨ pyramids in the year 2650 BCE ¨.They built it in steps to build them up all the way.They built it for the sun god so they went up it for the sun god. (Hart 20)
Architecture on page 28 it said that there is a temple called the Karkan ¨. The temples had a bunch of wealth.It had to be modern so it does not fall or break. (Hart 28)

The government on page 36 said that they only had groups of 50 at a time.¨ They had a well organized army to fight with.Some soldiers dug canals to bring in water.(Hart 36)
Writing on page 34 is said that Scribes wort with "700 letter or shapes."An example is that they have three way to write like the way every one used it and hieratic.The hieratic is a faster way to write.(Hart 34)
