Location : On page 6 it said that flowing southward through the Middle East were two great rivers. The location of Mesopotamia was in modern day Iraq as well as parts of Turkey , Syria , and iran . In the book it states that " Mesopotamia included cooler mountains reigions in the north and reed filled wetlands in the southwest . " - ( Steele 6)
Architecture : On page 24 it said that the ziggurats are massive and made out of brick . The text said " Ziggurats looked similar to the stepped pyramids of Ancient Egypt , which were used as royal tombs , but they were served a different purpose . " Only wealthy/special people were allowed in this temple . These temples were massive .
Religion : The author wrote that the sumerians worshiped many gods and goddesses.They believed that the stars traveling across the night sky were the cows of Sin or Nana the horned moon god . (Steele 14 )
Government : On page 10 it said The king made rules by taking clay tablets and forming them with triangular sticks , and making a list . The text said " The reigns of each dynasty were recorded on clay tablets known as king lists . " I know this because The king enjoys ruling and having fame/power . Most people make up myths about the kings but they have writing on stones that proves his rules and ect.
Writing : On page 12 it said at first Mesopotamians used picture symbols to represent animals and objects . The text said " By around 3300 BCE the citizens of Uruk were using about 700 different symbols , or pictograph . " . Cuneiform symbols were made by using a symbol . Then it dried and was hard .
Art :On page 28 it said the mesopotamians people made crafts to help their citizenship and then their citizens then connect with their citizens. They created a technique that turned copper to bronze . They made this technique to sell , jewelry, pottery to their people , it first started out in anatolia but then spread to mesopotamia .In the book it states that " Some time before 3500 BCE They invented the potters wheel , Which made potter production far more efficient . " (Steele 28)

Location : On page 8 it said that the desert covers most of Egypt.The text said " Desert Covers more than 90 percent of the desert .Called the "Red Land " ,the desert supported only small settlements in Wadis and Oases . " Most Egyptians lived on "The Nile River " or "The Black Land " . Today we have a growth in cities and technology which changed how Egypt is

Location :In the text is said in 221 B.C. The Chinese Empire was formed . The Qin soldiers defeated the last of their enemies and united the "warring states" under one leader,Zheng . To show his supremacy over the kings he had vanquished ,Zheng took the title Sovereign Qin Emperor ,or Qin Shi Huangdi . (cottrell 16 )
Government : The text said The first Emperors greatest achivment it was the construction of The Great Wall in aout 214 B.C. It joined together a number of defense walls aimed at keeping out the Xiongnu nomads.It is the longest ever built .(cottrell 16 )
Architecture/Technology : In the text it said Some of the worlds greatest inventions came from China .Throughout its imperial history emperors encouraged the development of science and technology ,and for centuries China led other nations in these areas . In the Middle Ages many Chinese inventions were carried along the silk road to europe , where some had an enormous impact . ( Cottrell 22)
Art : In the text it said A chinese dragon has the head of a camel, the horns of a stag ,the eyes ,of a demon ,the scales of a fish , the claws of and eagle ,the pads of a tiger ,the ears of a bull,and the long whiskers of cat . ( Cottrell 17 )
Religion : religion : in the text it said that confucius saw only growing disorder .The king's authority was greatly reduced as ambitious lords fought each other for power . Confucius to develop a new moral out look.( Cottrell 12 )
commerce (trading): In the text it said Trade flourished under the Mongol , or Yuan , Dynasty .The mongol emperors ruled China from 1279 to 1368 and permitted merchants to trade freely throughout their vast empire .They controlled the entire length of the Silk Road , a series of trade routes that ran from northern China across Asia . (Cottrell 58 )
writing : writing : In the text it said that the Shang kings used the Oracle bones . The Oracle bones were used to communicate with there ancestors .The bone was placed in a fire and scorched .( Cottrell 11)
Indus River valley
Government : On the website the text talks about how the government was called case system . I know because in the article " For example, one Aryan influence on modern-day India was the development of the caste system. " This supports my answer because it shows that the case system was the modern government .
Architecture/technology : On the website the text says that They were very smart by putting river drains . I know because the article says With the cities, people could obtain water from wells. Also, within many homes, some rooms had facilities in which waste water was directed to cover drains and these lined the major streets." Thats supports my answer because a lot of houses were built and they made very many things that are useful .
Writing : On the website Writing the article says that they writing is still unknown after 400 years . I know because the article says " One of the most confusing aspects of this ancient civilization is that the writing cannot be deciphered. Over 400 symbols have been uncovered from different locations.
Religion : The religion for The indus river is Buddhism, and Hinduism . I know because the article says " The religion of the ancient Aryans, known as Brahmanism, was polytheistic and heavily influenced the later development of Hinduism. " This supports my answer because it shows that the main two religions are buddhism and hinduism .
location: On the website Location the Indus River valley was formed from a flood . I know this because on the article the text says " Around 5,000 years ago, a civilization developed along the Indus River alluvial plain (floodplain), in South Asia, due to the large amount of fertile land and proximity to a water source." I know this because the text shows how the Indus river valley is located/formed .
