Location:In the text it said that "the ancient Greeks called it Mesopotamia, meaning between the rivers." Mesopotamia is now the location of modern day Iraq. (Steele 6)

Location: On page 8, it said that "the Egyptians lived on the banks of the Nile River." There would be no civilization without the Nile's fertility. The Blue Nile and White Nile converged and brought silt into Egypt.
