Dementia can result from various conditions, including Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia, Lewy body dementia, and others.
Alzheimer’s is the most common cause of dementia, accounting for 60-80% of dementia cases.
Alzheimer’s is a type of dementia, but not all dementia is Alzheimer’s.
