Levels of Organization
Atoms
The smallest building blocks of everything around us. Think of them as tiny LEGO pieces that make up all matter.
Organels
Little parts inside a cell that have specific jobs, like the tiny organs of a cell. For example, mitochondria are like the cell's power plants.

Groups of similar cells working together to do a specific job. For example, muscle tissue is made up of muscle cells that help you move.

Organ system
A group of organs that work together to perform a major function in the body. The digestive system, which breaks down food, is an example.

A complete living thing. It can be a person, an animal, a plant, or even a tiny bacterium.
