Licence/Certification:
GCSEs and A-levels
You need at least five GCSEs, including English, maths, and PE, and three A-levels, including one in PE.
Degree
Most employers expect you to have a degree in a sports subject or physical education. You can also study a degree that combines sports and education.

What professional training do you have to undertake?
study a sports related degree first (such as our BSc (Hons) Sports Coaching and Physical Education degree) and then continue on to a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate of Education) – either at primary or secondary level.
What continuing professional development would be offered?
Sport-specific CPD programme develops a teacher's knowledge, skills and confidence in specific PE topics. The training can be broken into Key Stages, or it can even be split into specific Year Groups. The training is online, in order to suit busy staff training timetables, and is practical based.

Job description- is to help patients improve their health and wellbeing by assessing and treating movement and functional disorders.
Complete a degree
You can complete a physiotherapy degree course at university, which usually takes three years full-time. You can also complete a postgraduate master's course if you already have a first degree in a related subject.
Register with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
After graduating, you need to register with the HCPC

Entry requirements for a university degree typically include two or three A-levels, including biological science and/or PE, and five GCSEs (grades A-C), including English language, maths, and at least one science.
Consider a degree apprenticeship
Apprenticeships allow you to earn while gaining your qualification. Your employer and the government will pay the tuition fees.
