Classical Conditioning

Conditioned stimulus
This is considered a neutral stimulus. When you're presented with it over and over before the unconditioned stimulus starts to evoke the same response.
Conditioned response
This is the acquired response to the conditioned stimulus, which is often the same response as the unconditioned response.
Extinction
The disappearance of the conditioned response when the unconditioned stimulus is no longer presented with the conditioned stimuli.

Discrimination
The ability to differentiate between a conditioned stimulus and other stimuli that have not been paired with an unconditioned stimulus.

Motivation
Refers to the desire to perform an observed behaviour, motivation is created through reinforcement.

Vicarious reinforcement- occurs when the frequency of a certain behaviours are increase or decreased as a result of observing others rewarded or punished for the same behaviours.
Operant conditioning

Antecedent
The stimuli/event that occurs before the behaviour, and indicates the occasion for a particular behaviour.
