Essay (67%)
1200-1600 words essay based on a prescribed title
relevant knowledge issue--connect to own experience--present arguments--justify--reference sources.
Presentation(33%)
identify and explore a real-life situation that is related to the knowledge issue raised
Show understanding of the issue---demonstrate personal involvement--take position on the issue(Balanced account)--implications of their position

Reporting Periods: 2 per semester
Overall Achievement Grades
Multiple grades for assessments in the first quarter will be combined together using appropriate weightings
Sometimes will influence the final grade, while graded by IB or external organizations.
Teachers are expected to give feedback to students (might be different to the final grade)

ability to apply them in a variety of situations. The student generally shows evidence of analysis, synthesis and evaluation where appropriate and occasionally demonstrates originality and insight.
