- - - - I remember going into the Algebra test at the end of term 3 and thinking in my head: I'm cooked. I was looking at the questions and some just baffled me. I actually consider math to be a strong subject of mine but at that point of time, I was utterly lost in some of the questions. I was uncomfortably shuffling around and looking around the classroom, seeing some students visibly confident and most others visibly struggling. After I walked out of the test which seemed to last an eternity, I had a moment of clarity - I needed to study.
    - - Do you know how to study?
        
        I feel like school is used as a vehicle to learn how to study - for example, school sets you tasks and you need to study for them, but you never actually get specifically taught how to effectively study.
